We are visiting my dads grave soon for his second anniversary . My mum loves pinwheels (or whirrly gigs) so I decided to do special ones. I found these in a cheape shop for 75c.I took photos of all family members, Mum sister, husbands, kids and grand kids ; gluing them to each petal. It was very fiddly and sticky but overall I am happy with the effect.
I dont expect them to last a long time as they are not waterproof but the way I look at it real flowers dont either.
